New York Film Academy 2 Year Filmmaking Student

I chose to study at New York Film Academy because I want to expand my story-telling and develop into a wonderful moving picture story-teller.

The hands-on camera work is a valuable teaching method. I enjoy getting the different point of views and understanding how it changes the intent. Also, there are always opportunities to ask questions.

This school is not only intensive, but I didn’t have to wait an entire year to hold a camera. I recomend this school to others looking to get into the industry.

My experience at New York Film Academy so far has been awesome. I took the 8-Week filmmaking program and I learned a lot. I also decided to take the 1-year cinematography program to improve in this area and help fulfill my dream of becoming a director.

The programs are very intensive and you learn a lot by doing and not just listening. Teachers are always willing to share their opinions and emphasize on what you are doing well.

The reason I chose to study at New York Film Academy was because friends of mine who previously studied here recommended it to me, and the school makes it easier for international students to attend.

I recommend this school to others because of my great experience. The admissions team, teachers, T.A.’s and equipment guys were all incredibly nice. I love the building and made great friends, which ultimately generated a great atmosphere.

I am studying at New York Film Academy because I want to be a working director, and I am able to do my reel here. This school is also located in New York.

Paul Warner’s teaching methods are very valuable and the teachers here are why I would recommend this school to others.

Also, the building and classrooms are nice!

I chose to study at New York Film Academy because I want to be a director. I want to be able to express myself and work in filmmaking.

Classes at the New York Film Academy are really helpful and it’s exciting to know I’m learning in every class. The teachers are open, dynamic, and friendly. They also share a passion for what they are teaching and it’s motivating for us to feel it too.

I picked New York Film Academy over other schools and would recommend it to others because they offer intensive programs providing a great deal of experience for the time of its duration. I’m very happy here!

After completing a 4-Week workshop at the New York Film Academy, I loved the school and decided to take another course.

Paul Warner is a great instructor and does a great job teaching us safety and protocol to ensure our safety in our various projects.

I chose New York Film Academy over other schools because it allows you to specialize in the field of your interest and is not an intimidating environment.

I chose to study at New York Film Academy because I wanted to learn more about developing story structures and learn more technical information about the filmmaking process. From working in Union Square, I was able to meet NYFA students and hear about their positive experiences attending school here.

I definitely recommend New York Film Academy to others in this field because the teaching is hands-on and the most effective way to learn. This school is everything I hoped for and more.

My goal after studying at New York Film Academy is to write and direct. I’m partial to experimental filmmaking and love the school’s hands-on approach method. The access to equipment and small classes are the reason I chose this school over other schools. After graduating from New York Film Academy I hope to create music videos and movie advertisements.

I chose to come to the New York Film Academy because of the different international students they have attending the school, and the positive reviews I read from critics on the Internet.

In my very first week attending school here I learned so much. I enjoyed the fast paced teaching methods and the location. I did not find these types of valuable teaching methods from other schools. I would recommend New York Film Academy to those looking to get into the industry.

I am studying at the New York Film Academy because I want to expose myself to all the different roles that make a film possible. I want to find my niche as a filmmaker and also build my technical background.

The school has a very hands-on approach that I find to be the most valuable teaching method.

New York Film Academy is better than other schools due to their hands-on technique. I find no better way to learn than actually physically immersing yourself in the project. Attending school here allowed me to live in New York City.

I recommend this school to others trying to get in the industry because the teachers are very accessible, the classes are small, and the training is hands-on.

I am studying at the New York Film Academy to expand my options. I am a stand up comedian and filmmaking gives me the opportunity to tell stories in a visual format. I’m open to future opportunities in television or film.

The school provides a lot of valuable information that I find essential to making a film. I recommend this school over other schools in the industry because you get to work with other like minded individuals that creates a positive environment conducive for success. The teachers want you to learn and comprehend the things they teach.
